The unidentified woman nodded yes to the crowd, and her new fiancee. The stadium erupted into cheers for the couple.

Many fans in attendance celebrated the holiday by wearing green shirts; some even came completely dressed up head to toe, with crazy hats and wigs.

If a fan wasn’t wearing green, then the next most popular fashion choice were shirts showing fan loyalty to Rafael Nadal. Fans went crazy as soon as Nadal entered the stadium court, waving Spanish flags or homemade “Rafa” banners in the air.

Nadal won over Karlovic in a final set tiebreak, 9-7. Nadal will move on to the semi-finals to face off with Juan Martin Del Potro on Saturday, March 19 at 11 a.m.
