Palm Desert Baseball Ready for Sonora in CIF Quarter Finals

The Aztecs will take on Freeway League winners in today's CIF baseball quarterfinals.

’s baseball team will take the field this afternoon for a CIF Division 4 quarterfinal against La Habra/Sonora.  

Sonora (21-8 overall, Freeway League Champions) is riding a 10 game winning streak, including playoff wins over Mt. Baldy League Champions Ontario/Colony and wild card entry Simi Valley/Grace Brethren. 

Junior right hander Brooks Kriske (11-1, 0.57 ERA) should have the start on the mound for Palm Desert. First Pitch is scheduled for 3:15 p.m. at Shadow Hils High School in Indio.
