Palm Desert Beaten by Palm Springs 49-10

Aztecs fall in key Desert Valley League matchup, trail early and never recover in loss to undefated Palm Springs.

The Indians running game pounded Palm Desert in a 49-10 thrashing Friday night at Ralph Watt Stadium.

Aztec kicker Kyle Kabeary's 30-yard field goal midway in the second quarter was the first points scored on Palm Springs since the end of September.

The only highlight for Palm Desert was a 28-yard touchdown catch by Bo Miller with 19 seconds left, against the Indians reserves. That was the first touchdown that Palm Springs had given up in 20 quarters of action.

Palm Springs remains undefeated (8-0, 3-0 Desert Valley League), while the Aztecs (4-3, 2-1 DVL) prepare for next week's game at home with Indio.
