The planned 40-mile CV Link is designed to provide an alternative for cyclists, pedestrians and slow-speed electric vehicle drivers who want to avoid Highway 111 motor-vehicle traffic. The Coachella Valley project is being built largely along the Whitewater River, and will eventually extend from Palm Springs to Coachella. Future route segments include connections to Desert Hot Springs, the eastern unincorporated communities of the Coachella Valley and the Salton Sea.

The project has a cost estimate of nearly $100 million. To see a map of the CV Link project and completed segments, click here.
