Palm Desert Deputies Honored For Their Service At 2022 POP Awards

PALM DESERT, CA — The 24th Annual Peace Officer and Public Safety Awards Luncheon was held Wednesday at the JW Marriott in Palm Desert. The Palm Desert Area Chamber of Commerce hosted the event that honored many first responders for their work within their communities.

The "POP" awards give the community an annual chance to say "thank you" and honor the service of officers and emergency personnel from all over the Coachella Valley.

This year, the following recipients were honored for their service to the community:

• Palm Desert Station Deputy Jacob Paull
• City of Palm Desert Deputy Page Broughton
• City of Palm Desert Community Service Officer Stacey Austin
• City of Rancho Mirage Deputy Eric Earley
• City of Indian Wells Deputy Kendall Martinez
