The Rancho Mirage Police Department responded at 12:19 a.m. to the intersection of Bob Hope Drive and Highway 111, where a 2013 Honda Civic was found facing north in the southbound lanes of Bob Hope, after it colliding with at least three palms in the center median and causing minor damage to some irrigation pipes, the Riverside County Sheriff's Department said.

The driver, Anna Christina Tames, 23, the car's sole occupant, was inside, unresponsive and bleeding from the head, deputies said.
