PD Football Ready for First Home Test

The Palm Desert Aztecs look to rebound from a 21-0 Mercury Bowl loss to Palm Springs by hosting Damien High in the 2012 home opener this evening.

Palm Desert is coming off an bye week, and hope to have their offensive woes fixed in time to down the visiting Spartans.  The Aztecs also hope to find a bit of road weariness in the visitors, who will be leaving La Verne at 2:00 p.m. for the bus ride to the desert. 

Damien (0-1) is coming off a 31-14 beatdown by Orange Lutheran last week, meaning both teams are looking to get on the winning track.
