Palm Desert Free Spring Concerts Continue With Yachty By Nature

The public is invited to enjoy one of Southern California's hottest yacht rock bands.

PALM DESERT, CA— From City of Palm Desert: Palm Desert’s free Spring Concerts in the Park continue on Thursday, May 16, with a live performance by Yachty by Nature at 7:30 p.m.

The public is invited to enjoy one of Southern California’s hottest yacht rock bands playing beloved hits by artists such as Michael McDonald, Hall and Oates, Steely Dan, Boz Scaggs and Christopher Cross. The six-piece band specializes in soft rock from the late 1970s and early 1980s creating a smooth groove and lots of fun.

Yachty by Nature is just one of the musical acts that spring concertgoers will discover from 7:30 to 9 p.m. every Thursday in May. Hosted by the City with additional sponsorship from the Desert Recreation District, the Spring Concerts in the Park lineup is designed to please music lovers of all ages and tastes including The Fancies on May 23 and Beatles Tribute band Britain’s Finest on May 30. In addition to fantastic music, concertgoers will discover delectable food truck fare at each performance.

Family YMCA of the Desert will once again be leading children’s games and activities before each show. Concertgoers are encouraged to bring blankets and lawn chairs to enjoy the evening. Alcoholic beverages and smoking are prohibited.
