Palm Desert Resorts On Hiring Spree, 200 Jobs Being Filled

PALM DESERT, CA — Marriott Vacations Worldwide is continuing its summer hiring spree in Palm Desert this week with two job fairs.

From 4-6 p.m. Tuesday, a hiring event will be held at Marriott’s Desert Springs Villas, 1091 Pinehurst Lane. Then from 4-6 p.m. Wednesday, another hiring event will be held at The Westin Desert Willow Villas, 75 Willow Ridge.

The company plans to hire 200 people this summer, according to its announcement.

Non-tipped hourly positions start at $19/hour, and all new hourly associates are eligible for a $1,000 sign-on bonus; salaried management positions are also available, according to the company.

First-, second- and third-shift opportunities are available, as well as weekends — on a full- or part-time basis, the company reported. Benefits, including health care, are offered.

Relevant industry experience is preferred but not required, and paid training will be provided, according to the company.

The company has held hiring events in the Palm Desert area throughout the summer.
