Palm Desert's Free Spring Concerts: Blue Breeze Band On May 24
Concertgoers are encouraged to bring blankets and lawn chairs to enjoy the evening.

From The City of Palm Desert: Palm Desert's free Spring Concerts in the Park continue on Thursday, May 24, with a performance by the Blue Breeze Band. A Los Angeles-based ensemble, the Blue Breeze Band has been entertaining audiences for more than a decade with its high energy performances of classic Motown, R&B, Soul, and Funk favorites. Members of the band have performed with a variety of big name acts including: The Temptations; Smokey Robinson; Mary J. Blige; Rod Stewart; and many more. The Blue Breeze Band is just one of the exciting musical acts that Spring Concertgoers will discover, along with delectable food truck fare, from 7:30 to 9 p.m. every Thursday in May. Hosted by Palm Desert with additional sponsorship from the Desert Recreation District, the Spring Concerts in the Park lineup is designed to please music lovers of all ages and tastes. The concert series will conclude on May 31 with a performance by All Our Exes Live in Texas.
Family YMCA of the Desert will once again be leading children’s games and activities before each show. Concertgoers are encouraged to bring blankets and lawn chairs to enjoy the evening. Alcoholic beverages and smoking are prohibited. Civic Center Park is located on the northeast corner of San Pablo Avenue and Fred Waring Drive.
