Palm Springs High School Homecoming Parade Slated For Oct. 24

The parade will begin at 3:30 p.m.

PALM DESERT, CA - From Palm Springs High School: Go Big Red! It’s game time in Palm Springs!

Get ready to cheer on one of the best high school football teams in the Coachella Valley at the annual Palm Springs High School Homecoming Parade on Wednesday, Oct. 24 in downtown.

The 3:30 p.m. parade will kick off at Baristo Road and head north along Palm Canyon Drive and conclude at Alejo Road.

The parade features members of the Palm Springs City Council, the Board of Palm Springs Unified School District along with the much loved Palm Springs High School Marching Band “Spirit of the Sands” – and of course, the school’s legendary football team. This year’s Grand Marshal is long-time team supporter, parent and grandparent, Lisa Loustanau Libretti, otherwise known as “Grandma Lisa.”

The Indians take on the Shadow Hills Knights in their Homecoming game on Friday, Oct. 26 at 7 p.m. at the Ralph Watt Stadium. In addition, there will be half-time fireworks.
