After Man Stabbed In Head, Palm Springs Police Announce Arrest

James Jeremiah Fuller, 41, of Palmdale, was arrested following a reported stabbing on S. Palm Canyon Drive.

PALM SPRINGS, CA — An early morning stabbing Tuesday in Palm Springs has led to an arrest.

The incident was reported at approximately 3:55 a.m. in the 600 block of S. Palm Canyon Drive.

When Palm Springs police arrived at the scene, they found a man with head lacerations, according to the law enforcement agency.

The victim provided limited information but said he had been attacked by an unknown man who fled in a white pickup truck that was occupied by a male driver and a female passenger, police reported.

Officers tracked down a white Ford F-150 matching the victim's description, and a traffic stop was conducted. The truck's driver had injuries consistent with involvement in an altercation, according to Palm Springs police.

During the subsequent investigation, officers spoke to a witness who helped identify the truck driver as the stabbing suspect. The driver was named as James Jeremiah Fuller, 41, of Palmdale. He was arrested just after 4:30 a.m. on suspicion of attempted murder and a parole violation. He's being held at Indio's John Benoit Detention Center.
