Palm Springs Tramway Reveals Snow Guessing Contest Winners

PALM SPRINGS, CA — Nearly 1,000 people tried to guess when the first inch of measurable snow would fall at the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway for this year's annual Snow Guessing Contest. That came to an end Wednesday, with an inch of snow measured by 2 p.m., the Tramway said.

The first 10 contestants who submitted the correct date — and will get four Tramway admissions plus a Tramway ornament — are as follows:

4. B. Siddon of Desert Hot Springs
5. D. Butts of Anchorage, AK
6. M. Montenegro of Palm Springs

9. K. Ellis of Palm Desert
10. P. Merriam of Highland
