PD Tennis Advances To CIF Semis
Aztecs make fourth trip to semis in four years after defeating Walnut High School.
For the Palm Desert High Boys tennis team, a spot in the CIF semi-finals is becoming a tradition.
The Aztecs advanced to the Division 2 Semis for the fourth straight year with a 13-5 road win over Walnut High.
Aztec senior Aidan Korros swept all three of his singles matches, as did the doubles team of Nick Cummins and Jack Felich.

Walnut picked up two of its points at the expense of Palm Desert’s No. 2 singles player Austin Rapp, who was replaced in the third set by Austin Graham.
Palm Desert (19-1) comes home to face Burroughs/Burbank on May 24th, with a berth at the CIF Championship at stake. Burroughs, the #2 team from the Pacific League, defeated Beverly Hills in their quarterfinal matchup.
