PDHS Baseball Tops CIF Poll

After taking firm control of the DVL, Palm Desert is back on the CIF Division 4 poll.

The Palm Desert Aztecs are back on familiar ground -  the top of the CIF Southern Section Division 4 baseball polls.

The Aztecs (16-8, 8-0 in Desert Valley League), regained the number one ranking in the poll after a pair of wins over cross town rivals Xavier Prep last week.

Palm Desert has two league games with Cathedral City (10-12, 3-5 DVL) this week, before the a possible league deciding home-and-home with La Quinta High. The Aztecs are just a game ahead of La Quinta (16-6, 7-1 DVL) in the DVL.

La Quinta also appeared in the CIF poll, ranked 5th.
