PDHS Gives Sneak Preview of Campus

's new campus wowed local parents and students alike this week during the first of two tours being offered to the community.

"I'm interested to see how two stories work,'' said Michelle Patton, whose 16-year-old son, Luke, will be a junior this year.

Patton and her husband, Larry, attended a campus tour Thursday evening. A second tour is set for Tuesday, Aug. 23 from 6 to 7:30 p.m.

The first day of school is set for Monday, Aug. 29. (Check back that day for photos on the first day of school.)

The new campus features smart boards and projectors in every classroom as well as an open courtyard with several shade structures.

Katherine Teasley, 14, of La Quinta attended the tour because she will be a freshman.

"I think it's going to be a bright new world,'' Teasley said.
