The event is a 156-player, 72-hole PGA TOUR golf tournament which began Thursday on three golf courses – TPC Stadium Course at PGA WEST (host course), Jack Nicklaus Tournament Course at PGA WEST and La Quinta Country Club – and awards a $1,044,000 prize and 500 FedExCup points to its champion.
