PHOTOS: Students Enjoy Field Trip to 'Narnia'

Over 6,500 Coachella Valley students got to leave class this week to attend performances of the C.S. Lewis classic, "The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe."

Thousands of students from the Coachella Valley sat riveted in their seats watching the adventures of four young children in a faraway land called Narnia.

The popular story, "The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe," was presented by Children's Playtime Productions, a non-profit organization dedicated to bringing education through theater to young people throughout the area.

Parents, teachers and children all pitched in to help put on the show.
