Rancho Mirage Restaurant Fire Knocked Down

RANCHO MIRAGE, CA — Firefighters knocked down a blaze that started in a Rancho Mirage restaurant's kitchen Monday.

The fire was first reported at 11:01 a.m. Monday in a single-story strip mall unit on the 72000 block of Dinah Shore Drive, according to a Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department statement.

After quickly knocking down the fire, RCFD personnel began checking for extension. Crews remained on site for an additional hour for overhaul, according to the statement.

No injuries were reported, according to RCFD public information officer Jasmine Wood.
