RivCo Police And Firefighters Plan Emergency Preparedness Drill March 12

INDIO, CA — An emergency preparedness drill will be held in Indio on Thursday as first responders practice for a potential public safety threats, according to Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department.

The exercise is a routine procedure and will include Indio Police Department, Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department, and paramedics, officials said.

The location where the emergency drill will take place was not disclosed. The exercise is not open to the public.

"Residents and businesses in the area may notice increased first responder activity during the drill. We appreciate the community’s understanding as we continue to prioritize public safety and emergency preparedness," officials said.
