UPDATE: Tausaga and Robinson Hearings Rescheduled

Two men allegedly involved in a robbery that ended in the police shooting of a third robber have thier court date pushed back into April.

Roman Tausaga and Dyrenell Robinson, two men allegedly involved in a home invasion robbery that ended with the shooting death of a third robber, will return to court on April 19th for a possible settlement hearing.

Superior Court Judge Victoria E. Cameron issued the continuance Tuesday morning at the request of the Riverside County District Attorney's Office.

Preliminary hearings for both men are schedules for April 27th.

Tausaga, 22, remains jailed in Indio on $1 million bail.  He is charged with robbery and burglary, both with the additional count of using a firearm. 

Robinson, 20, also remains in jail with bail set at $500,000. He is charged with one count each of burglary and robbery.

The two are charged in a home invasion in Palm Desert on February 23, that left Frank Tanuvasa, 20, fatally wounded following a struggle with a Sheriff’s Department deputy.
