PALM DESERT, CA — The Living Desert zoo's Safari Nights experience returns Friday evening, bringing a variety of animal encounters for the entire family to the park after dark. Safari Nights is held after the zoo's usual hours from 7 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. each Friday this month.

Guests can enjoy activities like the Scorpion Walk, visiting the Astronomy Station, the Bat Detector Station, live entertainment from Vintage Vibe, and more.

"We invite everyone to join us at Safari Nights, as it's a completely different experience to take in the sights and sounds of the zoo at night. It's the perfect place for a date or a family night out." said Dawn Petrick, Living Desert director of park services.
