School Bus Crash In Rancho Mirage Injures 6 Students

RANCHO MIRAGE, CA — A crash Tuesday involving a school bus in Rancho Mirage left six students injured, authorities said.
The crash involving the bus and two other vehicles was reported at 12:45 p.m. at Ramon Road and Bob Hope Drive, according to Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department.
A total of seven crash victims were treated at local hospitals: Six students on the bus sustained minor injuries, and one person in one of the other vehicles suffered moderate injuries, according to the fire department.

Eastbound Ramon Road was temporarily closed west of Bob Hope due to the crash investigation by the California Highway Patrol.
There was no word yet on what caused the crash.
