'Sound Of Music' Opens At Palm Canyon Theatre

The Rodgers and Hammerstein classic "The Sound of Music" runs from Dec. 3-19 at Palm Canyon Theatre.

PALM SPRINGS, CA — The Von Trapp family has arrived in Palm Springs.

The Rodgers and Hammerstein classic "The Sound of Music" runs from Dec. 3-19 at Palm Canyon Theatre, according to a news release.

The production is directed and choreographed by Se Layne, Co-Artistic Director. Musical direction is by Scott T. Smith.

Maria is played by Alisha Bates, with Captain Von Trapp played by Keith Alexander. The Von Trapp children are played by Grace Carey as Liesl, Reagan Kaminsky, Ryan Rodriguez, Alice Steepleton, Audrey Steepleton, and Dayanara Huerta.
