Technology Literacy Summit Planned at CSUSB's Palm Desert Campus
Event is planned for Nov. 20.

The following was submitted for publication on behalf of CSUSB Palm Desert:
A summit focusing on the use of technology in the classroom will take place at Cal State San Bernardino’s Palm Desert Campus on Thursday, Nov. 20, from 4-5:30 p.m.
The summit for teachers and interested community members will explore how to learn more about Edchat, Tweeting and other ways to connect and network with teachers through technology.

Edchat is the weekly Bammy Award-winning Twitter conversation that any educator can join to discuss and learn about current teaching trends, how to integrate technology, transform their teaching, and connect with inspiring educators worldwide.
Summit participants are encouraged to bring their own device for a more hands-on experience.

The event will feature two teacher presenters: Robert Fleck from Jackson Elementary School and Christine Hartooni from Palm Desert Charter Middle School.
The summit, which is free and open to the public, will be held in the Mary Stuart Rogers Gateway Building, Room 205. No RSVP is required. Parking is complimentary courtesy of Friends of the Palm Desert Campus.
The summit is co-sponsored by the CSUSB Palm Desert Campus and Dr. Ward and Pat Fredericks.
