'The Music Man' Comes to Town
The epitome of the American musical classic, "The Music Man," is presented May 19-21 by the Xavier College Prep Theater Department.

Schemes go awry when love rears its head in the ever-popular musical masterpiece “The Music Man,” presented by the Theater Department of , May 19-21 at the Indian Wells Theatre on .
Xavier’s Evan Wilson stars as Harold Hill, the fast-talking huckster, who convinces the residents of River City, Iowa of their critical need for a big, expensive marching band. And he’s just the one to provide the instruments.
His plans of dashing with the cash wither when he meets his foil, the winsome Marian, the town librarian, played by the suitably lovely Kirby Davis.

This classic American musical receives the artistic attention it deserves by the Xavier Prep Theater Department cast - over thirty-five talented drama students. Other stand-outs in the cast include Josh Mikolaycik as Mayor Shinn, Bettina Riddle as his wife, Mrs. Shinn, Chloe Sharp as Mrs. Paroo and Celia Roze Salazar as Amaryllis. But the entire cast brings their best to this charming production.
