Tonight's Rick Springfield Concert Canceled at McCallum Theatre

PALM DESERT, CA – A Rick Springfield concert scheduled tonight at the McCallum Theatre has been canceled.

No make-up date has been scheduled, according to McCallum officials, who did not give a reason for the show's cancellation.

But officials at the Chumash Casino Resort in Santa Ynez, where Springfield had been scheduled to perform on Thursday, said that date was scuttled "due to the unforeseen delayed return from his mother's memorial service in Australia."

Springfield's mother, Eileen Springthorpe, died Dec. 21 at the age of 96.

Ticketholders must contact the McCallum Theatre box office at (760) 340- 2787 or point of purchase for an exchange or refund.
