Palm Springs City officials will participate in the meeting hall to help small business owners navigate through coronavirus difficulties.
PALM SPRINGS, CA — As small business owners continue to navigate their way through unprecedented times caused by the coronavirus pandemic, Palm Springs Mayor Geoff Kors and Assemblyman Chad Mayes will participate in a virtual town hall Tuesday morning designed to provide assistance.
The town hall is sponsored by the Palm Springs Chamber of Commerce and the Inland Empire Small Business Development Center and will begin at 11 a.m. The meeting will help small business owners in the areas of business survival and recovery planning, business loss insurance and claim information as will also provide information for local restauranteurs about how to participate in Riverside County’s new senior meals program.
“The past couple of months navigating through the COVID-19 pandemic have been incredibly trying and stressful for our local businesses,” Chamber CEO Nona Watson said in a news release. “Our goal is to continue to provide helpful resources and information that can make a tangible difference to businesses struggling during these unprecedented times.”
