Willie Nelson Cancels Palm Desert Performance Due To Illness

PALM DESERT, CA — Willie Nelson canceled a scheduled performance Monday evening at Palm Desert's McCallum Theatre due to an undisclosed illness.
Nelson, 84, had been scheduled to perform alongside his son Lukas. Theater officials said they hope to reschedule the performance, and anyone who purchased a ticket for Monday evening's show may hold onto the ticket pending a new date or return it for a refund or exchange.
Tickets must be returned by Feb. 18 to receive a refund. Tickets can be returned to the box office, mailed to McCallum Theatre, Attn: Refund, 73000 Fred Waring Drive, faxed to (760) 779-9445, or scanned and emailed to information@mccallum-theatre.org . Tickets must be returned with the word "refund" written across the face of the ticket.

The McCallum Theatre can only refund tickets that came from the box office. Tickets from third party sellers must be refunded through those sources.

Nelson performed at last year's Stagecoach Music Festival in Indio. His website lists three more tour dates with his son in California and Nevada, then an east coast tour beginning Feb. 7 with Los Lonely Boys.
