World-Famous Clydesdales To Hit El Paseo On Wednesday

Come check out the beautiful horses for free!

PALM DESERT, CA — The world-famous Budweiser Clydesdales horses are set to take a stroll through Palm Desert this week, and the public is invited to come check them out. The beautiful creatures will be on El Paseo this Wednesday before they head to the Stagecoach Country Music Festival in nearby Indio.

Officials say the Clydesdales will be hitched on the frontage road parallel to Highway 74 behind the Daily Grill beginning at 12:45 p.m., and begin their journey down El Paseo at 2 p.m.

The eight-horse hitch and red Budweiser beer wagon will be accompanied by the Dalmatian “coach dog,” bred and trained to protect the regal horses and guard the beer wagon. Delivery stops include the Daily Grill, then Tommy Bahamas, where they will then make a U-turn at San Luis Rey and deliver to Piero’s Pizza Vino, The Fix, IL Corso, Armando’s, and California Pizza Kitchen – concluding at about 4 p.m. This event is free and open to the public to see them making their deliveries.
