Xavier Prep Offers Egg-stravaganza for Special Needs Children
Festivities begin Sunday at 2 p.m. in celebration of the Easter holiday.
Xavier College Prep’s Easter Egg-stravaganza has become an Easter tradition that is as special for the participants as it is for the youth it serves.
The Palm Desert high school is holding its Third Annual Easter Egg-stravaganza for special needs kids on Sunday April 10th. Festivities begin at 2 p.m.
Xavier’s Eggstravaganza is an afternoon of games, food, and egg hunting with special needs children from around the Coachella Valley. Any special needs kids 18 and under along with their families are invited to participate in events where Xavier students accompany each of the visiting children.

Activities tailored for the child or teen with special needs include: An egg hunt, lawn bowling, face painting, bean bag toss, photos with the Easter Bunny and much more.
Xavier is hoping to make this year’s the most successful ever, with over 250 special needs kids and their families participating. Activities start at 2 p.m. and run until 4 p.m. at Xavier College Prep, located at 34-200 Cook Street, Palm Desert.
