City leaders hope expanded operations and carefully reviewed outdoor events can support struggling cannabis tax revenues while keeping strict controls on odor, age limits, and on-site consumption.

She is 5'4", about 140 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair, and anyone with information is urged to call 800-950-2444.
   

3. Palm Springs Palms Could Get Historic Landmark Status: What Do You Think? (nbcpalmsprings.com) — Palm Springs is weighing whether the iconic palms along Palm Canyon Drive should be declared historic landmarks, potentially protecting their distinctive dried frond "skirts." The proposal forces the city to balance preservation, safety, and maintenance as it decides how these trees should shape Palm Springs' future look and identity.
   

4. Coachella Valley Schools Expand Fentanyl Awareness Education Under New State Law (nbcpalmsprings.com) — Students in Coachella Valley, including the Palm Springs area, will see expanded fentanyl awareness lessons this year as part of a statewide health-education mandate. High schoolers must complete eight class sessions on drug risks, while officials report local fentanyl deaths have dropped sharply. The push coincides with Fentanyl Prevention and Awareness Day on August 21.
