Firefighters soon learned that all of the home's occupants were able to safely evacuate and that no one was inside, fire officials said.

Firefighters were eventually able to knock down the fire and prevented it from spreading to other homes.
No injuries were reported, according to fire officials.

Firefighters believe the home's Eichler-style construction, involving an open design and large windows, helped the fire spread faster than normal.

A cause for the blaze remains under investigation, fire officials said.
