2018 'Out To Eat' Fundraising Gala Benefits LGBTQQ Youth
Tickets on sale for the Palo Alto event at Oshman JCC to support teens, tweens and young adults in Santa Clara and San Mateo counties.

PALO ALTO, CA – Tickets are on sale for the annual "Out To Eat" fundraiser gala for Outlet, a program of Adolescent Counseling Services, a nonprofit dedicated to LGBTQQ youths' social and emotional welfare, is set for Thursday, Oct. 4, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Oshman Family JCC in Palo Alto.
Out to Eat is open to the public and will feature a raffle, hors d’oeuvres by local favorite Catered Too!, live music and testimonials from speakers whose lives were changed by Outlet’s services. Tickets are $100 each, and sponsorship opportunities are available for larger groups, according to organizers.
This year’s keynote speaker is Anthony Ross, past Outlet Program Director and current Program Manager for Transgender Services in the County of Santa Clara Office of LGBTQ+ Affairs.

Ross joined Outlet in 2003 to coordinate its programs and became the Outlet Program Director in 2008, where he provided leadership, support and education to the LGBTQ+ community on the Peninsula. After 15 years with ACS, he continues to provide critical support for local LGBTQ+, organizers said.

Out to Eat 2018 sponsors include the El Camino Healthcare District, Applied Materials, Oath, and Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital, along with two musical sponsors, the Palo Alto chapter of School of Rock, a band made up of local music students, and Slack Tide Currents, a band that consists of three, local high school teachers.
