$25K Reward Offered For Info On Missing Woman

Wamaitha Kaboga-Miller was reported missing nearly a month ago, last seen leaving a market in East Palo Alto, police said.

PALO ALTO, CA – The family of a 66-year-old woman, missing for nearly four weeks, has launched a website and is offering a $25,000 reward for information on her whereabouts, officials said today.

Wamaitha Kaboga-Miller was last reported seen Aug. 17 leaving the Country Time Market on University Avenue in East Palo Alto, driving east in a silver 2002 Mercedes-Benz, with California license DP241LU, the Palo Alto Police Department said.

"Our detectives have no new leads and are still encouraging the public to call in tips and possible sightings," the department said, adding that, as of now, nothing indicates a crime occurred.

Kaboga-Miller's family filed the missing-person report with Palo Alto police on Aug. 18 and recently launched a website, https://www.findwamaitha.com/, looking for tips on her disappearance and is offering the $25,000 reward, officials said.

Kaboga-Miller takes prescription medications, but they were left behind at her home, the agency added.

"We are in regular communication with her family, and it is our sincere hope that we can locate her safe and sound," police said. "We have followed up on all tips that have been received, however none of them have led to a confirmed sighting of Kaboga-Miller or her vehicle."
