3 East PA Teens Busted Allegedly Breaking Into House on Hawthorne in Palo Alto

The minors -- all 15 years old -- were arrested.

Three East Palo Alto teens were arrested Tuesday morning on suspicion of attempting to burglarize a home in Palo Alto, according to police.

A neighbor called dispatch at 10:19 a.m. to report that two window screens had been removed from a home in the 200 block of Hawthorne Avenue, and two juvenile boys were helping a juvenile girl through an open window, according to police.

The witness yelled at the suspects and they ran away. Responding officers found all three nearby at the intersection of Bryant Street and Everett Avenue, according to police.

The suspects were all 15-year-old residents of East Palo Alto. They were arrested on suspicion of attempted residential burglary and conspiracy, which are both felonies. Due to their status as minors their names and photographs will not be released, according to police.
