Pedestrian Struck By Bus Suffers Moderate Injuries, Taken To Stanford Hospital [UPDATE]
BREAKING: The accident was on El Camino Real near the Country Inn Motel at Cesano Court.

SANTA CLARA COUNTY, CA – UPDATE: THURSDAY, NOV. 3, 3:05 p.m.
A pedestrian was struck by a bus and suffered moderate injuries this afternoon in Los Altos, a police spokesman said.
Police received a call at 12:47 p.m. reporting the collision at El Camino Real and Cesano Court, Los Altos police spokesman Agent Steven Spillman said.

According to a couple of witnesses, there may have been some inattention on the part of both the bus driver and the pedestrian, but police are still investigating, Spillman said.
The bus was traveling west on El Camino Real, Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority spokeswoman Stacey Hendler Ross said. She did not know which way the pedestrian was walking.

The pedestrian was taken to Stanford Hospital. No one on the bus was injured, according to Spillman.
VTA officials and Los Altos police will be investigating the collision.

THURSDAY, NOV. 3, 2:30 p.m.
A bus collided with a pedestrian this afternoon, Palo Alto police and a clerk at the Country Inn Motel said. The collision occurred sometime after noon at El Camino Real and Cesano Court.
A maintenance man with the motel saw the collision and called 911, according to a motel clerk named Barbara who declined to give her last name.
Officials with Los Altos police and the Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority were not immediately available to provide more information about the collision.
