Café 220 Serves Up Casual Mediterranean

Fast and delicious, Café 220 offers Greek specialties.

The Mediterranean Diet as a way of life got a fresh boost this week when the New England Journal of Medicine published a study on its website that proved a 30 percent reduction in heart attacks, strokes and death when the diet is followed.

The broad-based study included more than 7,000 people in Spain, who participated for at least four years.

In Palo Alto, what better place to enjoy Mediterranean cuisine than Café 220 on University Avenue. The café serves salads, wraps, kebabs, dolmas, mousaka, spanakopita and the most popular item on the menu—gyros.
