City Council Backs New Palo Alto Police Headquarters: Report
The project is expected to be completed in 2023.

PALO ALTO, CA — Despite ongoing economic uncertainty amid the pandemic, Palo Alto’s City Council on Monday approved a proposal to build a new police headquarters, Palo Alto Weekly reports.
Construction for the new 250 Sherman Ave. structure will cost approximately $118 million according to the report.
The project is expected to be completed in 2023, the report said.

The building will also include an Emergency Operations Center and a community room, the report said.
The proposal passed by a 5-2 vote according to the report.
