Clinical Trials Awareness Week at the Stanford Cancer Center

Free week-long education health event about cancer clinical research

The Stanford Cancer Institute will hold its fourth annual Clinical Trials Awareness Week from April 20-24, 2015 at the Stanford Cancer Center. This free week-long event is for patients and the community to learn more about clinical trials and Stanford Cancer Institute research.

Throughout the week, a research poster exhibit will be on display and a daily information desk (10am - 2pm) will have staff available to answer questions or inquiries. Other activities include a one-on-one session poster exhibit with research staff, educational talks, and a clinical trials educational game with prizes.

1:30pm – 2:30pm: Cancer Clinical Trials & the Future of Care (Education Session)


FRIDAY APRIL 24th

12pm – 1:30pm: Snapshot of Cancer Care Research (Poster Session)

12pm – 12:45pm: Snapshot of Cancer Care Research (Poster Session in Spanish).This is a special activity for Spanish-speaking patients and visitors. A staff member will provide interpretation of the poster display while research staff discuss their posters.

1pm – 2pm:Cancer Clinical Trials & the Future of Care (Education Session in Spanish)
