The Black Lives Matter mural on Hamiliton Avenue in front of Palo Alto’s City Hall is now complete.

Sixteen artist teams from diverse backgrounds came together on Tuesday, June 30 to create the street mural painted with a water based acrylic paint. The City is now looking into applying a sealant to extend the duration of this temporary art.

Hamilton Avenue will remain closed through Monday morning for the public to get a first-hand look at the mural before the street reopens to traffic. If you stroll through downtown Palo Alto this 4th of July holiday weekend be sure to come check it out!
