Cops Release Sketch of Suspect Who Snapped Photo Of Woman In Palo Alto Restroom Stall
The incident reportedly occurred Monday at the Cubberley Community Center.

A sketch was released on Saturday of a man who police believe used a cellphone to photograph a woman inside a bathroom stall at a community center on Monday.
On Monday around 10 p.m., police dispatch received a report from a woman who said someone just took a photo of her while she was in a bathroom stall at Cubberley Community Center, police said.
Arriving officers used a police dog to search for the suspect that turned up nothing, according to police.

The woman said she saw a man push a metal cart while walking down the breezeway in the center’s “J” wing to an empty women’s restroom where she entered a stall, according to police.

A short time later, the woman saw a shadow and looked up to find someone was holding a cellphone over the stall’s dividing wall as she sat on a toilet, police said. She yelled and the suspect ran out of the restroom, according to police.
The woman’s description of the man pushing a metal cart matched the one of a witness who saw the man running out the bathroom, police said.
Both the woman and the witness described the suspect as a man in his 20s, possibly Hispanic or Asian and about 5 feet 6 inches to 5 feet 8 inches tall with a “buzz” haircut and thin mustache, according to police.
At the time of the incident, he was wearing a black zippered, hooded sweatshirt and either black pants or long shorts, police said. Officers were unable to find the metal push cart, according to police.
The circumstances in Monday night’s case is similar to one on July 17 in a women’s restroom at the center’s “A” wing, police said. Anyone with information on the case is asked to call Palo Alto police dispatch at (650) 329-2413.
