Drivers: Palo Alto Students Head Back To School This Week
Palo Alto police reminded drivers that young pedestrians and bicyclists may be using new routes to school.
PALO ALTO, CA -- Police in Palo Alto are asking drivers to be careful Monday as school begins for children in high school, and Tuesday as school starts for children in elementary and middle school.
The request is a reminder to drivers that young pedestrians and bicyclists may be using new routes to school, so drivers are asked to be patient and cautious.
Police encourage residents to check out the Safe Routes to Schools web page, where there are safety tips for bicyclists, pedestrians, skaters and drivers.
