Five Bites Friday with Paraiso Vineyards

Join us for our 5 Bites Friday as Chef Mark pairs delectable appetizers with outstanding varietals from our winery partners. 5 bites, 5 pairings, every Friday.

This week, we will be featuring wines from Paraiso Vineyards in Monterey County.

Paraiso Vineyards is owned and managed by three generations of the Smith family, one of the pioneering winegrape growers of the Santa Lucia Highlands in Monterey County.  The estate vineyard is the first in the region to be SIP™ Certified Sustainable.  While the focus is on estate Pinot Noir, Paraiso also produces small lots of Chardonnay, dry Riesling, Syrah, and Souzao Port.

The Wines:
2008 Santa Lucia Highlands Chardonnay
2009 Santa Lucia Highlands Riesling
2008 Santa Lucia Highlands Pinot Noir
