Enjoy the sights and sounds of the holidays throughout downtown Palo Alto including a spetacular tree lighting and dedication of Lytton Plaza featuring live music.
After the tree lighting visit local merchants and restaurants througouout downtown. They will have holiday goodies and specialties and musical perfpormances will take place on and near University Avenue.

- Dedication of Lytton Plaza and recognition of the Friends of Lytton Plaza
- Special Holiday Tree Lighting
- Celebration of the Palo Alto High School Women’s Volleyball Team, State Champions AGAIN - for the second time in a row!
- “Donation Station” by The Downtown Streets Team and Opportunity Center – Collecting new or gently used coats and blankets, as well as grocery cash cards to help those in need.
- Choral music from three youth groups: Addison Noon Chorus, Keyes School Carolers and Cantabile Children’s Chorus
- Hot cocoa and cookies
- Strolling musicians and carolers, balloons
- Special later hours and holiday treats offered by local merchants to those visiting their business
Official program with Mayor is expected to begin ~5:15-5:30 PM
