Bassist Buster Williams performs contemporary works and his own compositions as the guest of the Stanford Jazz Orchestra, directed by Fredrick J. Berry.
In a lengthy career as both a sideman and a bandleader, Williams has played with Nancy Wilson, Sarah Vaughan, Betty Carter, Miles Davis, the Jazz Crusaders, Herbie Mann, Art Blakey, Herbie Hancock, Ron Carter, and many more.
