The Trio of leader and drummer Jeff Hamilton, pianist Tamir Hendelman and bassist Christoph Luty is widely acclaimed for its brilliant live performances and recordings. The Jeff Hamilton Trio's CD release Symbiosis was awarded 4 Stars by Down Beat, and KCSM FM-91.1 DJ Michael Burman hailed it as one of his two favorite recordings of 2010. Jeff is known for his extraordinary brush work, he also co-leads the magnificent Clayton-Hamilton Jazz Orchestra, and he has played with such major jazz artists as Woody Herman, Count Basie, Lionel Hampton, Oscar Peterson, Ella Fitzgerald and Diana Krall. Tamir also holds the piano chair with the Clayton-Hamilton Jazz Orchestra, leads his own trio, and has accompanied such notables as Barbra Streisand, Tierney Sutton and Barbara Morrison. Christoph has played with Dave Brubeck, James Moody, Clark Terry, Dena DeRose and many other jazz luminaries.
