At one Palo Alto polling place on November 2, you'll be able to do more than vote. You can also conveniently receive a low-cost or free influenza vaccine at a "Vote and Vax" clinic organized by volunteer faculty members and medical students from the Stanford University School of Medicine.
Community members need not vote to receive a vaccination. All Santa Clara County residents are eligible to be vaccinated, including children. The vaccinations are offered at $15/dose, the flu vaccine's wholesale cost. Those who cannot afford to pay will receive the vaccine for free.
Vaccine will be distributed until the supplies are exhausted.
