Winemaker Tasting with Muns Vineyard at the new Vino Locale (Passport Day)

This Saturday is Passport Day for wineries in the Santa Cruz Mts.  Join Mary and Ed Muns at Vino Locale to taste our  estate Pinot Noirs and our new 2009 Syrah from our vineyard on the Loma Prieta ridge top - at 2600' elevation it is the highest Pinot vineyard in the region, cooled by the breeze off of Monterey Bay.

Vino Locale is under new ownership and you can meet the new owners, Debra and Jocelyn, and have a lovely lunch here. Bring your Passport if you have one - and if you don't have a Passport, don't worry - come in and join us regardless ($10 tasting fee). Vino Locale is a European- inspired enoteca, wine shop and gallery in an historic old Victorian - very warm and inviting - and a huge supporter of local food, wine and art. Muns Vineyard Pinots are available for sale here.

Passports ($40) are available from the SCMWA at www.scmwa.com or at Vino Locale and can be used again for each of the quarterly Passport events. Vino Locale, 431 Kipling St., Palo Alto 650-328-0450, www.vinolocale.com
