PALO ALTO, CA — A fire broke out at a downtown Palo Alto restaurant Monday afternoon, causing some temporary road closures as firefighters worked to contain the blaze. Palo Alto police reported at about 3 p.m. that personnel with the Palo Alto Fire Department were at the scene of a fire at Three Seasons Restaurant, a Vietnamese eatery located at 518 Bryant St.

University and Hamilton avenues were closed between Bryant and Ramona streets for about an hour Monday as the firefighting effort was underway, according to the Palo Alto Police Department Twitter page.

The closure of the 500 block of Bryant Street lasted a bit longer — until crews had the fire safely extinguished.
